I have a lot of experience treating substance-abusing clients in psychotherapy, and can help you work to stop or cut down on substance use which is beginning to cause problems. An effective technique which I use in helping people deal with substance abuse is called Motivational Interviewing (MINT). I don’t work with adult clients whose primary problem is drugs or alcohol.
I work with children and teen who have oppositional behaviors as well as anxiety.
I also work with parents of treatment-refusing young adults with mental illness, who are seeking to improve their family situation.
